Solar Brite provides utility-scale solar O&M field support focused on the core maintenance scopes that keep sites inspection-ready, safe, and producing: panel washing, herbicide applications, vegetation management, civil maintenance, and drones & GIS mapping.

Since 2017, Solar Brite has grown alongside major utility operators — expanding our workforce, equipment fleet, and technical capabilities to meet the evolving demands of large-scale solar portfolios.

Experience & scale

Solar Brite delivers utility-scale solar maintenance across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. In 2025, our crews maintained 22,222 acres under active contract within the Dominion Energy portfolio. Vegetation programs typically run four annual service cycles, adjusted for seasonal growth and site conditions. Operations are built for repeat-cycle performance, rapid mobilization, and long-term portfolio support.

Equipment & capabilities

Solar Brite operates a field-ready commercial fleet designed for utility-scale solar maintenance. Our equipment supports large-acreage mowing, slope and precision cutting, civil attachments, herbicide application, drone documentation, and mobile panel washing across varied terrain and site conditions.

People

Co-owner Brad Martin is an FAA-certified drone pilot and runs field operations. Crews are trained in active solar environments under an internal curriculum covering driver safety and FMCSA compliance, heat-illness prevention, site hazard awareness, and equipment and trailer operation.
